How long does home interior work take?
30–45 days is the standard AesthetiX handover window for a full 2/3 BHK home, measured from design freeze. Kitchens alone take 20–35 days; false ceiling and lighting 10–20 days. The schedule is shared week by week and backed by a ₹2,000/day delay penalty in your work agreement.
How many days do 2BHK interiors take?
35–42 days is typical for a full 2BHK interior in Bengaluru — modular production runs in our factory while civil, electrical and false ceiling work happen in parallel on site. What warranty do interior companies give?
AesthetiX gives a 15-year project warranty on carcass, hardware and structural finishes, and a 25-year warranty on modular kitchens — serviced by our in-house team, not a third party. Most national chains offer 5–10 years; local contractors typically give verbal assurances that are hard to enforce.
What happens if interior work is delayed?
We pay you ₹2,000 per day for every day past the agreed handover date — written into your signed work agreement, not a verbal promise. Force-majeure exceptions are listed transparently up front. In practice, most of our 2/3 BHK projects hand over inside the 30–45 day window.
Is there a cancellation fee for interiors?
Zero. You can cancel any time before production starts with no retention or admin charge. Once your modular units are in production, only the units already produced are billable. That zero-cancellation-fee policy is written into the work agreement you sign before any money moves.
What is the interior design payment schedule?
10% – 50% – 40% is our milestone schedule: 10% to begin design, 50% at production kickoff after your BOQ and drawings are signed, and 40% before installation. Every milestone is visible and approved in your client portal — no ad-hoc demands mid-project.
Is there GST on interior design?
Yes — 18% GST applies to interior design and fit-out work in India. AesthetiX shows GST as a separate line on your estimate and BOQ instead of bundling it into unit rates, so you can see the pre-tax price of every line item and compare quotes accurately.
What does BOQ mean in interior design?
BOQ stands for Bill of Quantities — a line-itemed list of every element in your project with its material, brand, dimensions, quantity and unit rate. A signed BOQ is your price protection: our final bills stay within 5% of it, and 95% of projects close inside that window.
Are there EMI options for home interiors?
Yes — we partner with leading NBFCs for interior-financing EMIs, typically 6–24 month tenures against your signed BOQ value. Your designer shares the current lender options and rates during the estimate stage, and the EMI paperwork runs in parallel so the project calendar never waits on financing.
Can I visit the factory during my interior project?
Yes — 3 scheduled factory visits are included in every project, so you can see your modular kitchen and wardrobes being built before they ship to site. Visits are slotted at carcass, finishing and pre-dispatch QC stages, and your project manager accompanies each one.
Can I watch my interior work live?
Yes — 24/7 live site cameras stream your project to your client app, alongside weekly site photos and schedule updates in the portal. You never have to ask "what happened this week?" — you can watch civil, ceiling and installation work in real time from anywhere.
Which paint is best for home interiors?
Premium low-VOC emulsions — Asian Paints Royale, Jotun Majestic or Berger Silk — are the best all-round choice for Indian homes: washable, low-odour and safe for kids' rooms. We sign off a painted mock panel before full application, and the exact paint brand and grade is named in your BOQ.
